Seeing our urban campus in the heart of San Francisco in person is an experience you don’t want to miss. It is also one of the best ways to preview what it’s like to be a student here. Our campus and housing tours have it all, including personalized information from our tour guides. We also hold open-house events in cities across the nation for those who want to see what makes the Academy an ideal place to get an art and design degree.

Visit Our Campus

We invite you to join us in person in San Francisco for a guided tour. Tours are held every Tuesday through Saturday. Schedule your tour(s) to learn more about programs that interest you as we show you through our academic buildings, lab spaces, residence halls, and student galleries. After your tour, you are encouraged to meet with an Admissions Specialist to discuss your questions about the admissions process, and to complete any financial aid steps with a Student Financial Aid Specialist. We have staff onsite to meet with you Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm.

Each tour takes about an hour and may include walking, stairs, ramps, riding one of our shuttles, or using a rideshare service. Please share any accommodations you may need so that we can provide the best experience for you and any guests.

In our Online Open Houses you’ll watch a short video tour of campus and dorms, meet students. alumni and faculty, and learn about our degree programs and schools. You’ll also hear about student clubs, online student life, and career services that prepare you for the professional world.

Throughout the presentation, admissions specialists will be available to answer your questions. After the video, you can join a live Q&A with other students and our admissions team. Want a one-on-one? We can set that up too.

You’ll get more than a glimpse of what’s possible. Sit down with department heads for portfolio feedback. Watch live demos that show how AI tools blend with art & design classes.

Meet with Financial Aid Representatives to explore your options. Learn about accredited degree programs, campus life, and the paths that can take you further.
