You’ll learn about fabrication, casting, raising, stonesetting, enameling, papermaking, welding, forging, lathe work, smithing, and woodworking. You’ll train with advanced, up-to-date tools that keep your skills sharp and your work industry-ready.

The 3D printing lab is where form meets future. Prototypes transform into wearables, interfaces, and installations—bold statements at any scale. From intricate miniatures to oversized builds, you print, mock up, and display with precision. Classes feature PRUSA and FORMLABS printers, while laser courses put EPILOG FUSION cutters in your hands.

Grad students work in dedicated studios equipped with major tools and resources, with the freedom to outfit their private spaces with their own materials and gear. Inside these studios, walls are lined with sketches, images, and works-in-progress—no need to pack up at the end of class. Locked, secure, and fully accessible, the space is always yours. Your projects and materials stay safe while your ideas keep moving.

In our full-featured metal shops, you’ll learn fabrication processes that shape metal with intent, crafting parts built to precision. The tools are here: casting equipment, machine lathes, milling machines, disc grinders, rollers, and formers. Your arsenal for turning raw material into refined form.

You will have access to a fully equipped checkout room stocked with a comprehensive range of tools and supplies. From start to finish, the right gear is always within reach—supporting independence, experimentation, and the ability to bring projects to completion with confidence.
