IPAL: The Integrated Path to Architectural Licensure.

For students driven to become licensed architects, IPAL offers an accelerated way forward to licensure. Available within our M.Arch and B.Arch programs, it’s a direct optional path—degree, experience, and exams—all in motion at once.

Through IPAL, you’ll earn a degree from a NAAB-accredited program while completing both the Architectural Experience Program® (AXP®) and the Architect Registration Examination® (ARE®) concurrently. No waiting. No pause between learning and practice.

IPAL is an optional track woven into the curriculum. A way to align education with licensure in real time.
And as of Summer 2024, our school is the only one in Northern California—and one of the few online architecture schools anywhere—to offer it.
