MFA IN ACTING

We’re looking for actors with that unmistakable spark—artists who are curious, magnetic,and ready to take their skills to the next level. If that’s you, welcome!

This isn’t one-size-fits-all training. Every aspect of your craft gets focused personal attention from our expert faculty. We will help you realize your full potential as an actor—in class, in auditions, on set, in rehearsals, and behind the camera.

Our conservatory-inspired MFA is rigorous and joyful. It’s built on a deep respect for the whole artist. You will develop technique, power, and consistency in your ability to transform and connect with audiences.

You’ll tackle contemporary roles, develop original scenes, work on full projects, and create your own material. You will stretch yourself in every direction as you write, direct, improvise, shoot, and edit collaboratively with peers and professionals.

By the end of the three years, you’ll have a rock-solid process and a reel that proves you’re ready for the industry.

Immerse Yourself in On Camera Acting

Develop your ability to bring characters and conflict to life in Reel Development. Learn how to holistically merge your in-depth training in Alexander Technique for Camera, Creating Physical Character, Meisner, and Script Analysis into a consistent, imaginative process that works for you and allows you to rise to the challenge of memorable roles.  You will star in multiple scenes shot on our many soundstages, curated for you by our in-house casting director on sets designed by our art department. Our professional directors, cinematographers and editors will help shape your performances as you grow to your full potential as an actor in our vibrant, hyper-creative working environment.

Production Hub – Act in PSAs

Volunteer your talents for projects that give exposure to not-for-profit organizations and public agencies. These PSAs are streamed around the world and have won awards in national and international film festivals.
